Surprise!

I found this under my pillow last night...

I little surprised, I asked MrNordin who was it from. He said, "I don't know..."

As I tore open the wrapping paper, I saw the ever so familiar maroon-coloured box from Habib Jewels.

"You did not, did you?"

He didn't say anything, just smiled...

I opened the box and in it, there was a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond pendant attached.

"Why?!!" I asked him repeatedly.

"Just a little something for your 40th birthday.." he said.

Wow... I wish I'm 40 every year !

Oh u lucky girl u!!!!!!

So sweet. Hey nothing is stopping u from celebrating ur 40th every year ehhehehe

Yesterday ended my month long birthday celebrations with my husband's return. It was also his birthday yesterday. I wanted to take today off as he's home but work deadlines just can't be set aside.... but as usual when I am in no mood to work, I find myself blog hopping. So tak productive jugak grrrrr

Aida - esok is my brother's 30th birthday... we have a small bash for him esok. But no dancing.

Aida,

I didn't expect that at all. It was a nice surprise, indeed.

Hubby's birthday yesterday? Well, Happy Belated Birthday to him! Hope you'll have a nice weekend with hubby and family.

Btw, how do you cope with a weekend husband? I think, my life will become like that too since my husband has to go to JB soon (based there, but on off KL). I hate the idea. I'm afraid I will not be able to cope!

BJ,

Having a weekend husband is NOT easy. There are days when U need him to be there and he is just not there.... just makes u so angry at the situation. But most of the times u just have to grit ur teeth and just live one day at a time.

Having a good support system (in my case, my parents live very close by) helps. I have a couple of friends who are in the same position, and they too think that weekends are more hectic than week days (where once u have a system or schedule) u'll find it easier to handle and can maximise on weekends.

When my husband was absed in Johor at least there was weekends I could drive down there instead of him driving up ajer (or u could meet half way for a rendezvous ehhehe). Nie dia kat Miri, susah skit. Us going to see him is a very big event, so susah nak buat spur of the moment.

Tell him, buat trial run... i mean its hard to decide on anything now kan.

Good luck to u guys on that. But I think u'll be ok. Kita nie jenis independant, whether we like it or not.

Hugs,
Aida - thanks for the birthday wishes, I shall convey them to him later.

Auntie,

Sekali sekala kena surprise macam ni, memang best! :)

Aida,

That's what I'm afraid of, that I'd be angry at him for leaving me to do everything on my own. Kids, school, tuition, the baby, the maid, the grocery shopping... urgh!

Not that I cannot do it, most times pun sekarang ni I buat sendiri, but at least now I can take comfort knowing that he's just nearby. Bila dah jauh nanti, macamana?

And I'm afraid I'll miss him...

Hey, but I quite like the idea of meeting half way, tho'... :)

BJ,

Not matter what its not the same. No one will opt to have a weekend husband and not feel angry at the man leaving u to be "the man". Tapi itu semua dugaan dear.

I try to find bright sides to him being away though deep down I miss him alot. And its different talking avoer the phone. Dulu masa courting talking avoer the phone pun dah boleh ubat rindu, nie U want to be able to hold and look at the man when u talk to him but most times u can't. With 3G boleh tengok and dengar and talk but still cannot hold.

*sigh*

Aida.

MrsN,

Wow!! So romantic of Mr N!! Esp when gold is so expensive these days!!
But of course you deserve it. It's not easy to handle instant kids, esp when they're in that age range. WELL DONE INDEED!

Hi Mrs. N,
I know rather too late but happy belated birthday. Awesome party you had there. Mmg susah nak please everyone... about your family tu well it's a good thing you didn't invite them klu tak nanti ada yg rasa out of place plak. In a away you were doing a favour to them for omitting them in your guests list. Betul tak?
You 1 lucky girl... ;-)
